Oliva hosts this weekend the 500 km of karting with 42 teams from all over Spain

The 500 km karting resistance race in Oliva has been presented at the Olivense Town Hall by JoaquĆ­n Calafat, Councilor for Tourism, Yolanda Navarro, Councilor for Sports and Alejandro Vives, businessman . This test consists of a competition that will be held on February 1 and 2 at the Karting Vives and 42 teams from all over Spain will participate.

Oliva’s 500 km is the most important team endurance race in Spain with two more stops, one in Segovia and the other in Seville. The competition will start with the previous one on Saturday from 3:00 pm while it will be on Sunday, at 10:00 am , when the 500 km start. The test will last seven uninterrupted hours during which the same kart will be maintained, although with the relief of the pilots. These cars are private competition karts with a four-stroke engine that can reach more than 110 km / hour and compete in three categories: tuning, standard and steel.

The 42 teams that will compete this weekend come from both the Valencian Community and Spanish cities such as Madrid, Murcia or Seville . This year, Swiss and French pilots will also participate .
